Shelmet Solves Decal Problem
Shelmet had been casting this cylinder for some time and one day discovered that the customer was applying a decal to the side of the finished cylinder. Unfortunately, the decal would often fall off during the part's lifecycle.
We suggested that the decal information be casting on the side of the part. We then upgraded the material from purely brass to a brass stainless alloy that resulted in a part that lasts longer.The customer was extremely pleased with the results:
